Producers who are already PQA Plus certified can complete this training and must pass an exam to obtain a PQA Plus Site Self Assessment Endorsement. This endorsement will allow producers to conduct a PQA Plus site assessment of an operation that they are directly associated with. Self assessments completed on or before December 31, 2009, are eligibile to apply for the $75 rebate monies being offered by the Nebraska Pork Producers Association.
Training will be held at the Northeast Community College at the Lifelong Learning Center in Norfolk, Neb. on Tuesday, December 1. The event will start at 1:00 p.m. lasting until 5:00 p.m.
