Here at NPPA we value education and think it’s important for young people to educate their peers through their own agricultural and educational experiences. Every year we induct more college students into our mentoring program. Every Monday we post a blog from a mentor. This is their chance to share their experiences and things they’ve learned about the pork industry or just agriculture in general. This is a good resource for those who have had similar experiences and for those that have not, it acts as a valuable educational tool. Here are some of the mentors who will be sharing their stories with you every Monday:

Andrea Konecky | Wayne State College | Pre-Nursing

Thane Motis | Southeast Community College | Agribusiness Academic Transfer

Leanna Grubbels | Creighton University | Emergency Medical Services, Pre-Veterinarian

Breanna Sensibaugh | Southeast Community College | Agribusiness Management and Technology

Laura Gorecki | University of Nebraska-Lincoln | Animal Science, Business Option

Andrew Spader | University of Nebraska-Lincoln | Agribusiness
